Every word Erik ten Hag said in Man United press conference as double injury boost confirmed

Manager Erik ten Hag has confirmed defenders Noussair Mazraoui and Matthijs de Ligt are available for tomorrow night's Carabao Cup third round tie against Barnsley.

The Manchester United duo were taken off during the second half of Saturday's 3-0 win at Southampton, prompting concerns they could be set for spells on the sidelines. However, they are both available for selection.

Elsewhere, the visit of the League One side will once again come too soon for both Luke Shaw and Rasmus Hojlund. The duo have not featured in any capacity so far this season after sustaining injuries in pre-season.

Ten Hag has hinted he will use his squad to rotate his pack tomorrow evening, but it is still likely he will deploy a strong team due to a lack of options in reserve because of injury issues. Both Victor Lindelof and Mason Mount are still unavailable for selection.
