Every country qualified for Euro 2024 as Wales penalty heartbreak sees Robert Lewandowski join the party

The Euro 2024 lineup is officially complete as Wales suffered penalty shoot-out heartbreak at the hands of Poland after a gruelling 120 minutes of action.

The tournament gets started on Friday June 14 and for once, and the Tartan Army will be out in full force as Scotland get the honour of kicking off the tournament against the hosts, Germany. The excitement around the nation is palpable as the competition comes closer and closer. Nothing is better than a summer of football and when you have vested interest it makes it much better. Scotland will be hoping to make an impact in this tournament and qualify out the groups for the first time and make history.

There are some fantastic sides in the competition and some underdogs looking to upset the apple cart. Let’s take a look at each nation competing for Euro glory when it all kicks off this summer.

Albania Finished top of Group E in the Euro qualifiers. They will be looking to make an impact as they did not feature in the last competition in 2021.

Austria Qualified as runners up in Group F. This is a big tournament for Austria but they could struggle as there are serious doubts around their captain David Alaba and whether he will be fit.

Belgium Stormed through their group with six wins and two draws. This tournament is a last chance for Belgium as many believe they wasted their golden generation.

Croatia Luka Modric and his countrymen made it through the qualifiers in second with Wales hot on their tale. The Croatia national team have been somewhat dark horses in every international tournament, finishing 3rd in the World Cup 2022.

Czech Republic Had a successful qualifying campaign finishing above Poland achieving second in their group behind Albania.
