Everton place 'premium price tag' on Amadou Onana and more Manchester United transfer rumours
Everton are relaxed about the future of Amadou Onana and are ready to place a 'premium price tag' on their midfielder, according to reports.
Manchester United have been linked with a move for the Onana as Erik ten Hag eyes midfield reinforcements. The Belgium international is thought to be on a shortlist of options that also includes Sofyan Amrabat.
Onana arrived at Goodison Park for £33m last summer but Sean Dyche's side are ready to at least double that, with The i reporting that they can point to the market inflation surrounding defensive midfielders. Despite being in a tight place financially, Dyche insisted Everton do not need to sell in order to invest and are not concerned about Onana with the 21-year-old not agitating to leave any time soon.
