Everton NOT interested in selling Anthony Gordon and Richarlison

Everton have dismissed the prospect of selling Anthony Gordon and Richarlison to Tottenham in a double deal.

The Merseyside club would not support a package deal for the two players, although a deal involving Richarlison and Harry Winks could still develop.

Everton ideally need to sell to ease financial pressures, and some fans have accepted this may be the right time for Richarlison to go with just two years remaining on his contract.

The club would be hoping to make a profit on the Brazilian forward, who was signed from Watford for £35m in 2018.

He was a key player for Everton last year, scoring twice as many Premier League goals as their next most prolific player.

Anthony Gordon is less likely to leave, as the 21-year-old winger has just finished his first season as a regular in the Toffees' first team and is under contract until 2025.

He has impressed for England U21, scoring four goals in seven games since his debut last year.

Frank Lampard's side narrowly avoided relegation last season, finishing four points above the dropzone in 16th place.

Richarlison could prove a tough player to replace, but the club's financial woes mean selling him may still be a good option.
