Europa League draw LIVE as Celtic set to to learn fate with Ferencvaros and Stuttgart lying in wait
There's no rest for the wicked as less than 24 hours after securing their passage to the Europa League playoff round, Celtic are about to find out who is up next.
The Hoops blitzed Utrecht last night to secure their passage into the knockout phase and now they know it's either Robbie Keane's Ferencvaros or Bundesliga side Stuttgart up next.
There's a long way to go before dreams of Istanbul in May can drift into the realm of reality but a barnstorming performance last night is breeding hopes another dream Euro run under Martin O'Neill could be brewing.
It will need to be the long way round though after just sneaking into the top 24 on the final day.
The way the draw works for the playoff round means that, as a result of finishing 21st in the table, Celtic will face either the 11th or 12th-placed sides. And that means either Stuttgart or Ferencvaros – the latter missing out on a guaranteed last 16 spot thanks to a 4-0 hammering against Nottingham Forest last night.
So will it be Germany or Hungary for Celtic? We'll find out very soon!
