Euro 2022: Seven times it was brilliant to be an England fan last summer

England may have lost on penalties to Italy in the Euro 2020 final, but the majority of fans will look back on last summer with fondness.

With eight matches held at Wembley, including the final, it truly felt like a home tournament. It was even better when England powered their way through the knockout stages, recording their best ever finish at a men’s Euros.

Well, if you’re looking back at Euro 2020 with nostalgia, we have good news for you. England will be hosting yet another international football tournament this summer – Euro 2022.

Sixteen women’s teams will battle it out for the title, with the tournament kicking off on July 6th with England’s opener against Austria at Old Trafford. In total, 10 venues around England will host matches.
