Euro 2022: 'Heartwarming' footage of young England superfan at final emerges
Eight-year-old Tess was invited by the BBC to travel to Wembley and watch the match after her incredible support at the Lionesses’ semi-final against Sweden went viral.
Once at Wembley, Tess had the opportunity to meet the likes of Ian Wright and Alex Scott. She even made a live TV appearance, where she gave her pre-game predictions for the final.
“I’m feeling very positive and I feel like we can win this match,” she stated emphatically.
Her prediction came true and It turned out to be a dream day for the young football fanatic, as she watched Sarina Wiegman’s side secure their first ever major silverware with a 2-1 victory over Germany.

The BBC documented Tess’ entire day at Wembley and have now shared the best bits on Twitter.
The superfan can be seen singing along to “Sweet Caroline” as she announces that today [Sunday] had been the ‘best day ever.’
