Euro 2022: England's 5 standout performers v Northern Ireland
English signed off their Euro 2022 group stage campaign with another dominant display, this time over their UK rivals Northern Ireland.
The Lionesses had already qualified for the quarter-finals thanks to a record-breaking victory over Norway earlier in the week, but chose not to rest players and named the same starting XI as on Monday.
Head-coach was Sarina Wiegman was absent, having tested positive for Covid-19. Yet, Arjan Veurink had little to think about as England cruised to another huge win in front of an elated crowd at St Marys.
There were plenty of standout performers for England on the night and, in truth, the whole team is worthy of recognition.

It seemed almost inevitable that Mead would score at some point and so she did –– steering home a deflected shot to notch her fifth goal of this tournament already.
The Arsenal forward is now England’s joint top scorer ever at a single European Championships tournament, drawing level with Jodie Taylor and Alan Shearer.
As ever, the England captain failed to put a foot wrong and the decision to move the Arsenal star back to centre-back appears to be paying dividends.
The Lionesses are still unbeaten since Williamson took over. Long may that continue.
It was another effortless display from the England right-back, who continued to link up superbly with Mead down the right.
Bronze was replaced by Jess Carter late on –– likely to keep her fresh for the Lionesses all-important quarter-final.

Russo may have considered herself a touch unlucky not to have started tonight. However, the Man United striker has certainly given
