ESPN analyst drops incredible claim about Miami Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa's 2022 season

ESPN analyst Tim Hasselbeck has made a big claim about Miami Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa ahead of the 2022 NFL season.

The 24-year-oldTua Tagovailoa is set for a pretty critical year in 2022 both for himself and for the Miami Dolphins as an organisation, as they are going into their 3rd year together after they drafted him with the #5 pick during the 2020 NFL Draft.

The first two years have been reasonable, but far from spectacular, especially when you consider where they took him in the draft. In his 21 starts so far, he has a winning record of 13-8 and had thrown for 4,467 yards and 27 touchdowns to 15 interceptions whilst also adding another 6 on the ground, he was however quarterback for a large part of their up and down season last year where they lost seven games in a row before winning eight of their last nine games, including seven in a row.

So it’s been something of a rocky road for him up to this point, a far cry from what he was like during his time at the University of Alabama.

The University of Alabama under head coach Nick Saban have been the predominant powerhouse in college football for a decade and more, and with Tagovailoa at quarterback that remained the case from the moment he announced himself to the college football world.

Tagovailoa became a household name when he entered in relief of future Philadelphia Eagles QB Jalen Hurts to win them the College Football Playoff back in the 2017 season, before going on to remain their starter for the next two seasons:

Four years ago today, Alabama won their fifth national championship under Nick Saban on Tua Tagovailoa's walk-off TD pass to DeVonta Smith.Still incredible
