Erik ten Hag sends message to Bayern Munich ahead of Manchester United tie

Erik ten Hag feels Manchester United can take belief from their performance in the 4-3 defeat to Bayern Munich in September.

United are bottom of Group A and have to beat Bayern at Old Trafford on Tuesday night to have any chance of progressing to the knockout stage of the Champions League.

"There were stages in the game where we played very good," Ten Hag said. "It was end-to-end for a long time in that game but also we suffered some mistakes that were absolutely avoidable.
