Erik ten Hag's first potential Manchester United signing identified as new home kit 'leaked'

All eyes will be on Erik ten Hag this summer as he gets down to work at Old Trafford. The 52-year-old has quite the task lying ahead of him, considering just how badly things have gone over the past year.

Ralf Rangnick has already spelled out one of his first tasks at United, having told Ten Hag he will need “two more quality strikers”. At the start of the season, the Reds’ forward options were seen as one of the club’s greatest strengths, but it’s now abundantly clear how much they’re lacking in that department.

By strikers, Rangnick doesn’t necessarily mean your classic number nines, and United certainly need some options who can operate on the right wing. With Jadon Sancho, Marcus Rashford and Anthony Elanga all preferring the left, the Reds have been crying out for someone to fill the gap left by Mason Greenwood’s expulsion – and Ten Hag may have the perfect solution in mind.
