Erik ten Hag's added-time record at Manchester United is almost the same as Sir Alex Ferguson's

Fergie Time began against Sheffield Wednesday but the Owls also had a hoot at Manchester United's expense. Wednesday's 1-0 win in March 1987 is the first recorded occasion where Alex Ferguson's United were beaten by an added-time goal.

During Ferguson's epoch, United only lost once in the Premier League to a goal after the 90th minute; Thierry Henry's headed winner for Arsenal in the clubs' first match at the Emirates Stadium in January 2007.

There were late losses in Europe to Deportivo la Coruna in 2001, Zalagerszeg in 2002, Bayern Munich in 2010 and Athletic Bilbao, although the latter were 2-1 up as the clock ticked past the 90th minute in their eventual 3-2 victory in March 2012.

Wimbledon triggered an FA Cup fourth round replay in January 1997, Bayern and Tottenham denied United victory in 2-2 draws in 1998-99, Costinha's conversion on the rebound inflicted an aggregate defeat and marked a watershed moment for Porto's then 41-year-old coach Jose Mourinho in March 2004. United also suffered draws that felt like defeats in north London at Arsenal in November 2007 and Tottenham in January 2013.

According to records on the comprehensive MUFC Info site, United only lost eight times to goals scored in the 90th minute and beyond across Ferguson's 26-and-a-half years as manager. In a little over two years under Erik ten Hag, United have already been beaten seven times in such a manner.
