Erik ten Hag has won over the Manchester United faithful before he has even arrived in the city it would seem as the Dutchman already has a chant in his honour.
The Ajax boss was confirmed as Ralf Rangnick's successor last month but will not officially take charge of the Red Devils until his work in Amsterdam is done and the current campaign has concluded. The process to hire a permanent appointment was a long one for the Old Trafford hierarchy but they were left impressed with Ten Hag's football philosophy.
If recent form is to go by, Ten Hag has his work cut out with United, who have failed to qualify for the Champions League next term and could instead see their European football come in the form of the Europa League. United still have one game left to play but have already seen this season become the worst in terms of points registered in their Premier League history.
The only positive for the United faithful has been Ten Hag's appointment, which has sparked optimism among fans due to his stellar work in Amsterdam. Ajax are within touching distance of what would be the 52-year-old's third Eredivisie title.
