Erik ten Hag pulled away after half-time incident in Manchester United moments missed vs Arsenal

Manchester United got off to the perfect start on their US tour thanks to a 2-0 victory over Premier League rivals Arsenal at the MetLife Stadium.

United looked a lot sharper than their opponents in the first half. On the half-hour mark a strong strike from Bruno Fernandes deceived Aaron Ramsdale, albeit the Gunners' goalkeeper should have done better.

Seven minutes later the Reds doubled their lead. A long ball was not dealt with by Gabriel as Jadon Sancho nipped in and fired the ball beyond Ramsdale.
