Erik ten Hag press conference LIVE Manchester United team news and injury updates for Bayern Munich

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag will look ahead to his side's Champions League group stage opener with Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena this evening.

The United manager, who watched his side slump to a 3-1 home defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League on Saturday, is scheduled to speak to the media at 6:45pm BST to preview tomorrow night's encounter. United are back in the Champions League after a one-year absence.

The Reds participated in the Europa League last season after finishing sixth in the Premier League in 2021/22. Now they are back at Europe's top table they will be determined to compete with the continent's biggest clubs.

However, the Reds will head into tomorrow night's highly anticipated showdown with Thomas Tuchel's side as the underdogs. They have experienced an underwhelming start to the season, winning just two of their first five matches, losing three.

A 23-man squad trained at the club's Carrington training base earlier today ahead of flying out to Germany. Kick-off in Munich tomorrow evening is at 8pm BST.

This evening, Ten Hag will address the media to look ahead to the game and provide an update on the latest injury news.
