Erik ten Hag makes admission about Manchester United win percentage change

Erik ten Hag acknowledges Manchester United's form has drastically dipped since they won the League Cup final on February 26.

United ended a trophy drought that had strayed close to six years with a 2-0 win over Newcastle at Wembley but they have won 16 of their 32 matches since.

After to the League Cup final, United had a 69% win ratio under Ten Hag but it has dropped to 50% since their triumph at the national stadium.

"It's the fact," Ten Hag acknowledged. "We dropped levels and we fight against, so we have to get back to those levels and there are reasons for [it].

"But still, it's not acceptable and we have to fight against it. Every team we put out has to be on one page and, as I just explained, the routines are not always there. They have a good foundation in the way they play, so we have some rules and principles, so keep the foundation, cover each other, support each other and we will do better."

Ten Hag also conceded Marcus Rashford is "struggling" after one goal in nine games for United this term and there have been calls for him to be dropped by some supporters.

"There is the team and of course, him, and there is both," Ten Hag explained. "It's normal that you are not always right in the same levels and of course, everyone knows the qualities of him and the opposition knows the qualities.

"If Rashy does the things right and the team is doing the thing right and put him in the right places, it's up to him, we have seen in the last weeks he is coming in good positions. Now, he is a little bit struggling but it will pass because everyone knows the qualities.
