Erik ten Hag faces making more unwanted Man United history with 41-year record at risk
Manchester United will be eyeing their maiden win of their Europa League campaign when they lock horns with Fenerbahce at the Sukru Saracoglu Stadium on Thursday evening.
The Reds, who last faced the Turkish club in 2016, drew their opening two matches of the league phase of the competition, squandering leads against both FC Twente and FC Porto.
United drew 1-1 with Twente at Old Trafford in September before contributing to an entertaining 3-3 draw with Porto earlier this month.

Erik ten Hag's side led 2-0 and then trailed 3-2 before Harry Maguire headed in a late equaliser. The stalemate in Porto, however, meant United are now winless in their last five games in Europe.
United, of course, participated in the Champions League last season, crashing out at the first hurdle. They finished bottom of Group A, winning just one of their six matches, losing four.
As a result, United are now winless in their last five European matches - marking their longest run without a win in major European competitions since a run of six matches between 1980 and 1983. Furthermore, they have won just one of their last 10 European outings dating back to their 2022/23 Europa League campaign.
United, of course, suffered their worst Premier League finish last season, ending the campaign in eighth spot. This time around, they suffered their slowest start to a season in 35 years, picking up just eight points from their first seven matches, before the weekend's win over Brentford.
