Emergency services close off road as person becomes 'trapped' in crash
Emergency services closed off a road in Wigan this morning after a three-vehicle crash.
The smash happened on Frog Lane, near the Wigan Health Centre, just before 9am today (Wednesday). A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said it involved three vehicles.
One person became 'trapped', the spokesperson added. A woman was taken to hospital from the scene, the North West Ambulance Service confirmed.

Firefighters were also called to the scene. The road was closed off between Lower St Stephen Street and Woodhouse Lane following the incident, with buses and traffic diverted away from the area.
