Eilidh Barbour in Livingston vs Celtic gaffe as Sky presenter drops hilarious blooper

It must be some job being a TV presenter and especially in our manic world of Scottish football.

When the cameras are rolling anything can happen – even to one of the best in the business like Eilidh Barbour.

Perhaps an enthusiastic Rod Stewart could hog the headlines at your cup draw, or a wayward ball might come flying towards the studio.

But the one thing popular host Barbour wouldn't have wanted in her afternoon presenting Livingston vs Celtic would have been the mouth not quite cooperating with the brain – as a slip of the tongue saw her call Livi's goalscorer "Andrew S****y'.

With the full-time whistle just blown at the Tony Macaroni and an ad break approaching she ran through Daizen Maeda's opener, the Nicky Devlin own goal and the James Forrest strike that had Ange Postecoglou's men on easy street.

She was left red-faced on the final name and, ever the professional, the error was quickly corrected but not before viewers were left cracking up.

It's not the first time it's happened to the St Johnstone fan as last season Barbour accidentally said Jonny Hayes got on the 'scores***e' instead of 'scoresheet' for Aberdeen against Rangers.
