Eddie Hall 'attempts' to break women's plank record, set by Dana Glowacka in 2019

Eddie Hall recently ‘attempted’ to break the women’s plank world record in a video posted on his Facebook.

Hall, who was crowned World’s Strongest Man in 2017, often sets himself tough challenges and posts his efforts on social media.

In his most recent video, he attempted to break the women’s plank world record, set by Dana Glowacka in 2019.

The Canadian athlete held a plank for a mind-boggling 4 hours, 19 minutes, and 55 seconds at the 1st International Plank Training Conference in Illinois in May 2019.

Hall thought he stood a chance of beating it.

After watching Glowacka’s effort, Hall said to the camera: “She looks in a bit of pain there. I reckon I can beat that. Watch this space…”

View his effort below…

Hall begins his attempt and the pain is visible to see just 10 seconds through.

The 34-year-old is really starting to hurt around the 50-second mark and lets out an ‘Oh god…”

Hall begins to shake even more after breaking the minute-mark and, with one minute 21 seconds on the clock, he cannot hold it any more and collapses.

“Oh Jesus Christ…” Hall says as his pain comes to an end.

Hall gave it his best shot and he was just 4 hours, 18 minutes and 34 seconds away from beating Glowacka’s mark.

Turning to the camera, Hall says: “It’s not far off… I think I need a do-over because my crocs slipped off my feet.

“But if I change my footwear, I think no problem at all.”

We believe you, Eddie…

In all seriousness, Hall’s effort was actually pretty impressive for someone who has so much muscle.

Realistically, he had absolutely no chance of beating Glowacka’s mark, which is just superhuman.
