Ebbsfleet United manager Josh Wright is waiting to hear if Dominic Samuel, Charlie Seaman, Tom Dallison, Jamie Fielding, Mustapha Olagunju and Lennon Peake will sign new deals

Ebbsfleet manager Josh Wright is still waiting to hear which of his current players will sign new deals.

The Fleet already have 11 of this season’s squad signed up and want six more players to extend their stay at Stonebridge Road, including top scorer Dominic Samuel and the highly-rated Charlie Seaman.

The club also offered new contracts to Tom Dallison, Jamie Fielding, Mustapha Olagunju and Lennon Peake.

While none have yet put pen to paper, Wright also confirmed at the end of last week that none of the six have walked away.

“No one's turned around and said that they're moving on,” stated Wright.

“There's negotiations and there's thoughts going through, and I respect that.

“They have to go away and take their time but at the moment all six of those could quite comfortably stay.

“There were some (other players) that were tied down during the season and there were some that were offered during the season that still haven't committed.

“I know as individuals they will wonder (to themselves) if I stay will I play, will I do this, what's he going to do, is he signing others, and then other options and locations (come into it).

“I wouldn't say there's an ultimatum yet but (we’ll need to know in time) what you're doing and where you're at.

“I want to try and keep the continuity and the core. I don't want to have a massive overhaul this year.

“I don't want to have to change loads because we weren't far away. We can't forget we weren't far away from being a really successful side last year.
