EBay makes major change that could leave people £400 richer

EBay has made a major change that could see people making £400 from the clothes they have forgotten at the back of their wardrobe.

As of today (April 8), the online marketplace is dropping all fees on second-hand clothing, both to keep these items out of landfill and to keep up with the growing pre-owned clothing sector, which has seen resellers like Depop and Vinted boom in recent years. EBay has also made AI-generated item descriptions available to all UK sellers. The new feature suggests “attention-grabbing” item descriptions, cutting down the time it takes to list an item.
