Oh, and not to forget there is a fortune on this game as Rangers attempt to join Celtic in the Champions League group stage. To do that of course Philippe Clement’s side need to take care of Dynamo Kyiv who clobbered Partizan Belgrade in the previous round.

The winner will play either Twente or RB Salzburg but the Ibrox giants can’t look that far ahead. Clement, fresh from signing a new deal, has been emboldened by the faith his board have shown in him. Only trouble is, that confidence will have taken a dent by the goalless draw on the opening game of the season at Hearts.
