Dundee vs Rangers LIVE as Don Robertson ready for second pitch inspection

The wait goes on to see if the Dens Park pitch will actually be playable but for now, we're treating it as game on.

Dundee are due to take on Rangers later on this evening and a 11.30am pitch inspection from ref Don Robertson has given it the all clear – for the time being. There will be another check at 3.30pm and Robertson has already hinted at a FURTHER inspection before the game is supposed to get under way at 8pm.

There's actual football to talk about amidst all this too, of course. Tony Docherty and his team have Europe in their sights while for Philippe Clement and Co., it's the chance to retake the advantage at the Premiership summit ahead of a blockbuster run-in, promising to be one of the best finishes to a title race in recent years. Before we can really focus on that, though, it's all about whether the game can actually go ahead.
