Dublin to face Wexford and Galway at Croke Park in Leinster Hurling Championship
Dublin will play two of their three home games in the upcoming Leinster senior hurling championship at Croke Park.
The meetings with Wexford, on 6 May, and Galway, on 28 May, will now take place at GAA HQ, while the Dubs' clash with Westmeath - their first home game at the end of this month - will throw in at Parnell Park.
The Donnycarney venue has hosted all of the Dubs' home games since the round robin was introduced for the 2018 championship, although Jones' Road hosted both Leinster semi-finals in 2020 and 2021 during the pandemic, at a time when the provincial championships reverted to straight knockout.
Dublin have beaten Galway in their last two championship matches played in Dublin - one at Parnell Park inMicheál Donoghue's last game with his native county back in 2019, and the Leinster semi in 2021 - although the most recent championship meeting between the counties saw the Tribesmen emerge six-point winners at Salthill last year.
Wexford haven't beaten the Metropolitans in the capital in championship since 2008, with the Blues also triumphing in last year's Leinster championship meeting at Chadwicks Wexford Park. The sides most recently met in championship in Croke Park in 2016, when Dublin emerged 13-point winners.
