Dragons v Scarlets Live: Kick-off time, TV channel and score updates

2026 is set to be a year of change for Welsh rugby, but it begins with on-field matters - as the Dragons host the Scarlets at Rodney Parade.

Both sides fell to Boxing Day defeats, with the Dragons beaten by Cardiff at the Arms Park and the Ospreys coming away from Parc y Scarlets with a victory.

But both will look to finish the festive derbies - as well as start the new year - on a high in this basement battle. The Scarlets currently sit bottom of the URC, with the Dragons one place above them.

The Scarlets are boosted by the return of Wales openside Josh Macleod, with Dwayne Peel making six personnel and five positional changes to his starting side.

Full-back Ioan Nicholas returns, while there is a new-look starting front five of Kemsley Mathias, Marnus van der Merwe, Henry Thomas, Harvey Cuckson and Max Douglas as Jake Ball misses out through injury.

On the bench, Sam Lousi is in line for his 100th appearance for the Scarlets.

As for the Dragons, back-rows Harri Keddie and Harry Beddall, hooker Oli Burrows and wing David Richards are the four changes made by head coach Filo Tiatia from the team that lost to Cardiff.

Flanker Ryan Woodman moves into the second row.

The match kicks off at 3pm, with it being shown on Premier Sports 1 and S4C. You can also follow live updates in the blog below.
