Dover Athletic boss Jake Leberl refuses to use threadbare squad as main reason behind FA Trophy exit as he reflects on third-round 4-1 defeat against Hornchurch
Manager Jake Leberl refused to use Dover’s threadbare squad as the main reason behind their FA Trophy defeat on Saturday.
Whites exited the competition at the third-round stage, losing 4-1 to National League South leaders Hornchurch as their five-game winning run ended.
Defender Harry Gibbs’ effort, coupled with a Luke Baptiste own goal, left them 2-0 down at half-time.
