Crystal Palace vs Man City LIVE - Team news, kick off time and how to watch Premier League clash
Manchester City return to Premier League action this afternoon full of confidence as they take on Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.
The Blues come into the game off the back of four straight victories in all competitions. Last time out, they gave their Champions League top eight hopes a significant boost thanks to a 2-1 win at Real Madrid.
After Arsenal won late against Wolves last night, City know a win will move them to within two points of the Gunners at the top of the table. Pep Guardiola was absent from the Friday press conference due to a 'personal issue' but will be in the dugout for the clash with Palace.
As for team news, Rodri remains out but City assistant Kolo Toure believes the midfielder will be back sooner rather than later. John Stones, who picked up a thigh injury before the Sunderland win, should return soon however an exact timeframe is unclear.
Meanwhile the hosts have suffered a disruptive preparation for this match. Plane troubles meant they flew back from Dublin later than planned after a 3-0 win at Shelbourne in the Conference League.
Palace could be without Ismaila Sarr and Jean-Philippe Mateta for the game but Jaydee Canvot is expected to recover from illness. Daniel Munoz is ruled out until 2026 with a knee injury.
