Two women arrested as police called after 'fight breaks out' on street
Two women were arrested after a 'fight broke out' on a street in Rochdale.
The incident happened on Church Road, near to the Madina Masjid mosque, at around 4.40pm yesterday (October 24). Police said officers were called to reports of an assault.
Eyewitnesses said they saw 'two females fighting'. Two women were arrested on the scene on suspicion of assault, a spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police confirmed.

A number of police vehicles were pictured on the scene. Enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
In a statement, a Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: "Police were called to reports of an assault on Church Road, Rochdale, at around 4.40pm. Two women were arrested on suspicion of assault.
"Enquiries are ongoing."
