'Didn't warm to him' - Roy Keane singles out Man United stars he wouldn't speak to
Roy Keane opened up about his differences with Wayne Rooney and Rio Ferdinand, admitting how he wouldn’t speak to his Manchester United team-mates who he "didn't get".
The Red Devils legend had a hugely successful 12-year stint with United, winning seven Premier League titles and the Champions League. During his eight years in the armband, he became the club’s most decorated captain before leaving under a dark cloud in 2005.

However, midfield dynamo Keane found it hard to connect with them due to generational differences. The Irishman recounted one incident in particular where Rooney, recently sacked as Plymouth Argyle head coach, switched the TV channel to X-Factor, sparking a furious response from Keane.
"We certainly didn't have an argument, let me tell you," Keane told Sky Sports' The Football Show in 2021. "I like my rugby league and yeah, someone did change the channel and I wasn't happy.
