'Definitely' - Journalist now claims Spurs man could kick off pending one condition

Journalist Dean Jones has claimed that Antonio Conte may well throw his toys out the pram in the summer if the club doesn’t match his ambition.

Antonio Conte has been public about where he feels the side needs to improve, and in January the issues failed to be resolved.

However, Conte did manage to bring in Rodrigo Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevsi from Juventus and the pairing have impressed in the early stages of their Spurs carers. Kulusevski has been particularly impressive since he arrived in England, he has seven-goal contributions in 10 Premier League games. Whilst Bentancur has featured 10 times in all competitions since signing for the club from Juventus.

Despite bringing in Bentancur and Kulusevski, there were other areas of the pitch that Conte felt needed to be improved, and Dean Jones highlighted to GIVEMESPORT that if he isn’t backed again in the summer, then we could see a similar situation in terms of Conte being left unhappy.

“Conte has been clear since the day he went to the club where he feels his team needs strengthening. They didn’t give him what he needed in January, and that’s why they have to in the summer. If Tottenham doesn’t strengthen by the time we come to August in those positions, I can definitely see a situation again where Conte’s throwing his toys out the pram,” Jones said.
