Declan Rice makes feelings clear on Kobbie Mainoo after Man United star's England debut

Manchester United youngster Kobbie Mainoo made his debut for England against Brazil on Saturday, and teammate Declan Rice was quick to share his joy.

18-year-old Mainoo, who's had a strong season with United, made his senior Three Lions bow at Wembley. He was initially picked for the under-21 squad but then got his chance to play in the last 15 minutes against Brazil.

United captain Bruno Fernandes added: "First of many," alongside a raising hands emoji. Harry Maguire said: "Deserved mate," while Luke Shaw commented: "What a player."

Cole Palmer, James Maddison, Teden Mengi and Alejandro Garnacho also congratulated Mainoo.

Southgate explained the decision to bring on Mainoo, who was only bumped up to the senior side after a flurry of injuries in the camp. "Kobbie was a chance to dip his toes," the England boss
