David Gray announces Hibs backroom team as Liam Craig is joined by club stalwart as no 2

David Gray has confirmed the backroom team that will support him in the dugout at Hibs.

The Scottish Cup winning hero was handed the gig on a permanent basis this summer after a fourth stint as caretaker manager following Nick Montgomery's sacking. Gray has been handed a three-year deal by new director of football Malky Mackay, and now with the support staff in place he can concentrate on adding to his squad.

Former Easter Road midfielder Liam Craig has returned from Queen's Park. He'll take on the role of assistant coach, alongside Eddie May. He was Gray's No 2 during each of his temporary spells in charge and will now be his right hand man on a longer-term basis, having worked at the club in a coaching capacity for a decade now. The final addition is Craig Samson, who is back as goalkeeping coach. Samson spent 18 months in the role under Jack Ross, before joining Aberdeen.
