David Beckham shows true colours with desperate Man United request before Liverpool clash

David Beckham has asked fans to sing his name more ahead of Manchester United's clash against Liverpool. The Red Devils lock horns with Arne Slot's side at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon in what is expected to be a feisty bout.

Erik ten Hag will be hoping to extend United's unbeaten streak against the Merseyside outfit, drawing each of the last two Premier League games and winning an FA Cup quarter-final tie. While the Red Devils may be full of confidence heading into the fixture, the players will need the home faithful to cheer them on after every pass, shot and tackle.

Speaking to reporters ahead of the clash, Ten Hag issued supporters a passionate call to arms, promising to 'go for it'. The Dutchman said: "I think that's often the case and I'm sure the fans are ready for it now.
