Raging Rangers fan turns James Tavernier historian as THAT programme note dug out in 'serial loser' meltdown

A raging Rangers has branded James Tavernier a "serial loser" as he dug out the infamous programme note from the captain over four years ago.

However, former Ibrox star Gordon Dalziel leapt to the defence of the skipper as he insisted most fans would have taken their current standing in the league when Philippe Clement replaced Michael Beale. Back in 2020, the Ibrox skipper tried to tell fans about why they've struggled since the winter break but supporters felt it just proved his lack of a winning mentality.

At the time he wrote for the programme: "Whenever anybody puts a bit of pressure on us in Scotland or gets in our face it seems to affect us too much. At the start of the season teams dropped off us and we were scoring four or five goals, but now they smell blood straight away and put us under pressure. We are not good enough domestically to react to that."
