The Brazilian has promised the Rangers support he will strive to return as quickly as possible after an outpouring of support following the gruesome injury - but in his latest update he remains in hospital after the horror knock at McDiarmid Park. The forward took to his social media to share an update from the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Glasgow - where he currently receiving care in the Neurosurgical department.

Sharing an image to his Instagram story, Danilo shared a motivational passage from the Bible, quoting Psalm 121 'A song of Ascents' along with a snap of his view of Glasgow from his hospital bed as he takes inspiration from his faith. With the forward facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines Michael Beale admitted he was gutted for the player at full-time on Saturday.
