Daniil Medvedev opens up about 'tantrums' after latest Miami Open victory - 'Not a good look'

Daniil Medvedev has shared some thoughts about his «tantrums» and the fact that they are «not a good look» after his latest victory at the Miami Open over Christopher Eubanks as he reached the semi-finals. The 27-year-old has secured his best-ever start to a season after ending Eubanks' barnstorming and fairytale run with a 6-3 7-5 victory that took him into his fifth consecutive ATP Tour semi-final, where he will face his compatriot, Karen Khachanov.

Ad Medvedev, the fourth seed in Miami, has won 22 of his last 23 matches on the ATP Tour, a streak which saw him seal impressive titles in Rotterdam, Doha and Dubai before he came up just short against Carlos Alcaraz in the final at Indian Wells. Asked about working with a mental coach again this year after not doing so last season, he credited that work with a change of mindset and avoiding the «tantrums» that have caused him to spiral on occasions. «That's something I want to improve,» Medvedev said after his victory over Eubanks.
