Dan Gore explains how Manchester United players are helping him as he sets new goal after debut
Academy graduate Dan Gore said it was a "dream come true" to mark his 19th birthday by making his senior debut for Manchester United in Tuesday night's 3-0 Carabao Cup win over Crystal Palace.
The midfielder appeared as a second-half substitute, stepping off the bench just past the hour-mark to replace Sofyan Amrabat. He slotted into midfield and saw out the match playing alongside Casemiro, who had earlier scored and provided an assist to put the Reds in command of the tie.
Gore impressed during pre-season, particularly in the second half of the 1-0 win over Lyon in Edinburgh in July. He was sent on at half-time and provided the assist for Donny van de Beek to slam home the winner.

"It means everything [to make your debut], growing up as a United fan [along with] my whole family, it means a lot to them and they were all here supporting me."
The midfielder, who was also among the substitutes for the 4-3 defeat to Bayern Munich in the Champions League last week, has been a regular fixture within the squad in recent weeks, both on the training ground and on matchdays.
Gore continued: "I think being around world-class players, day in and day
