Carabao Cup draw LIVE 4th round ball numbers and start time as Man City look to join Man United
Manchester City will be hoping to join Manchester United in the hat for the draw for the fourth round of the Carabao Cup when they face Newcastle United at St. James' Park this evening.
United, who won the competition last season, cruised into the next round of the competition last night, beating Crystal Palace 3-0 at Old Trafford. Alejandro Garnacho, Casemiro and Anthony Martial scored to secure a routine victory.
City, who last lifted the Carabao Cup in 2021, will have to be at the peak of their powers to get the better of a Newcastle side who will no doubt still be purring after Sunday's astonishing 8-0 win over Sheffield United. Pep Guardiola's side, however, will be keen to win the only trophy they missed out on last season.
The likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool are all in action this evening. Arsenal and Chelsea face all-Premier League ties, while Liverpool host Championship leaders Leicester City. The draw is scheduled to commence following the conclusion of City's tussle with Newcastle.
