Daizen Maeda is BACK as Celtic hero proves he's fit and firing for double Parkhead blockbuster

Key Celtic star Daizen Maeda is fit and ready to star against Hearts with the Japan international back in full training weeks after his season was feared to be over.

The non-stop winger suffered a muscle injury in the aftermath of the pulsating 3-3 draw with Rangers but has demonstrated his powers of recovery to make himself available for selection against Hearts. And, if all goes to plan, he will once again be unleashed against Rangers as he aims to continue his game-defining impact against the champions' title rivals.

Sky Sports captured Maeda in full flight as Rodgers gets set to call upon the man who wreaks havoc in the final third and causes apoplexy to opposing defenders with his non-stop energy. Rodgers has a call to make over which wide players to start on Saturday with James Forrest enjoying a rousing return to form and Nicolas Kuhn establishing himself as a key man.
