Curtis Davies sends message ahead of Luton Town’s play-off clash with Huddersfield
Luton Town are potentially 270 minutes away from Premier League football for the very first time, but before they can even think of that they first have to navigate their way past Huddersfield Town over two legs.
The Hatters have gone from consolidating themselves as a Championship club to pushing for promotion to the top flight – all on a small budget compared to most of the big-hitters in the second tier.
They face another side who have a modestly put together squad in comparison in the form of the Terriers, but in the first leg on Friday night it will be Luton who have home advantage as they attempt to make the trip to Yorkshire on Monday night with an advantage.
One person who will be in attendance at Kenilworth Road is former Luton defender Curtis Davies, who came through the academy system at the club and made 62 appearances in the first-team, winning promotion to the Championship in 2005 before moving on to West Brom.
Davies has sent a three-word message on Twitter notifying Hatters fans that he will be present this evening to put his support behind the club in what is destined to be an intriguing encounter.
I’ll be there
