Cursed Rangers crock on transfer move AGAIN as stunning career turnaround continues

Filip Helander could be on the move again just six months after leaving Rangers with Belgian title hopefuls Anderlecht reportedly interested in the Swedish stopper.

The 30-year-old moved to Ibrox from Bologna in a £3 million move under Steven Gerrard in the summer of 2019 and played a crucial role in the Scottish Premiership title win two years later. But his time after that was wrecked by injuries.

Helander, who scored the winning goal against Celtic at Ibrox in a derby in 2021, was crocked in a game against St Mirren in Paisley in April 2022 in what proved to be his last outing for the Light Blues. The 2021/22 campaign had been dogged by injuries but that set-back against the Buddies proved to be the end with the following season wiped out as he was sidelined for the entire campaign. After leaving Glasgow last summer the defender found a new club with Danish side Odense signing him and he has also forced himself back into the international set-up, playing four games last year to take his total appearances for Sweden to 23 caps.

His eleven appearances for the Danish Superliga side is the same as he managed in his last TWO YEARS at Ibrox. And Helander is now a target for Anderlecht, where former Ibrox kid Robbie Ure is currently playing, after his displays in Denmark. His turnaround will come as a surprise to Rangers fans after his injury record.
