Manchester United look set to be active in the market right up to their 11pm deadline on Friday night.

With three players - Andre Onana, Mason Mount and Rasmus Hojlund - already through the door this summer the Premier League giants are considering several options to further strengthen their squad. Erik ten Hag could bring in a new goalkeeper, left-back and central midfielder before the impending cut-off with outgoings also possible.

United are considering a move to snap-up Ryan Gravenberch from Bayern Munich, while Sergio Reguilon and Marc Cucurella find themselves on an emergency left-back shopping list with Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia now both on the treatment table. Marcos Alonso (Barcelona): Another name on the left-back radar. Alonso is widely-known in the Premier League from his Chelsea days, while reports on Tuesday morning hinted the Barcelona defender had 'turned down' an offer to see him return to the UK.
