CSI scrambled and forensic tent erected as block of flats taped off in Salford
Crime scene investigators were scrambled to the scene following a police incident at a block of flats in Salford. Photos from the scene showed a police tent had been erected outside Ewood House in Eccles on Wednesday afternoon (August 31).
Neighbours reported seeing a 'major incident' in the area at around 2pm as officers swarmed to the scene. Police were pictured standing guard at the cordon. A police officer was seen at the entrance to the block of flats on St Mary's Road, next to a forensic tent. A number of emergency service vehicles were pictured at the scene.
It is unclear at this stage what has occurred. Greater Manchester Police has been contacted for information on the nature of the incident.
