Crossmichael teenager to represent Scotland at lacrosse

A teenager from Crossmichael is getting ready to represent Scotland at lacrosse.

Anna Hutchison, 17, is captain of the first team at Fettes College in Edinburgh.

And she has been named in the Scotland under-20 squad for the home internationals against England, Wales and Germany in April, with a tour to America coming the same month.

She is also set to be involved in the under-20s world championship in Hong Kong in August.

Anna has been playing lacrosse since she was around seven when her family was living in Australia.
