In-demand Lewis Ferguson's agent will sit down with Bologna in the summer amid mounting interest from a quartet of Serie A giants over his services.

The 24-year-old has enjoyed a dream stint in Italy since signing in 2022 and the likes of Juventus, Milan, Napoli and Inter and edging closer to making their move for the Scotland international who is valued at £22million. Bologna are bonafide contenders to qualify for the Champions League and Ferguson is regarded as one of the finest operators. And his agent Bill McMurdo, speaking to the Daily Mail, said: "I have arranged to meet with Bologna in the summer to discuss Lewis's future at that time. Lewis and I are aware of the interest from other clubs and he will move in the future when the time is right for both him and Bologna.

"Lewis wants to concentrate on Bologna possibly qualifying for Europe. Then he will channel all his energies for Scotland in Germany if he is fortunate enough to make the squad."

Ferguson is a near-certainty to make Steve Clarke's Euro 2024 squad and he will be itching for game time in Germany after establishing himself as one of the elite midfielders in Serie A.
