Ronaldo sends message to fans
Cristiano Ronaldo has sent a passionate message to Manchester United fans demanding a return to former glories next season. Ronaldo grabbed his 24th goal of the campaign during a morale-boosting 3-0 victory over Brentford in their final home game of the season on Monday night.

After the game, Ronaldo turned to social media to address suffering supporters who have endured a difficult season. United have now gone five years without winning any trophy, although there is restored hope and ambition moving forward.

It means Lingard's final home appearance for United turned out to be in the 3-2 victory over Norwich on April 16.
