Cristiano Ronaldo's staggering net worth as Man United icon makes retirement claim

Manchester United legend Cristiano Ronaldo has hinted he will be looking to step away from football to tend to his businesses once he ends his record-breaking playing career.

The 39-year-old left Old Trafford - for a second time - under a cloud in November 2022 after his public fallout with Erik ten Hag which culminated in his controversial interview with Piers Morgan. In January 2023, Ronaldo made the move to Saudi Arabia with Al-Nassr, where he remains.

During September's international break, Ronaldo clocked up his 900th career goal and he told Rio Ferdinand that his desire is to reach 1,000 before retiring. Fans of the Portuguese great will not be wanting to listen to talk about Ronaldo retiring, but the veteran striker broached the topic and it appears he has no desire to move into coaching.

Like many modern-day footballers, Ronaldo has delved into the business world pre-retirement to ensure that he's in no financial difficulties once he hangs up the boots. Among his list of businesses are the Pestana CR7 hotel chain, a hair transplant clinic, restaurants and even his own range of perfumes.
