Cristiano Ronaldo makes Saudi Pro League point amid £200m Mo Salah transfer links

Cristiano Ronaldo believes he has been proven right over the future of the Saudi Pro League.

After his second coming at Old Trafford ended on a sour note, the five-time Ballon d'Or winner signed for Saudi Arabia club Al Nassr last December. That high-profile switch proved to be the catalyst for several other household names to follow him to the country, including Karim Benzema and Neymar.

Sadio Mane, N'Golo Kante and Marcelo Brozovic are three other notable additions from a busy summer, while further players could join the Saudi Pro League revolution before today's transfer deadline with Liverpool's Mo Salah having been linked with a £200m+ move to Al Ittihad.
