Coronation Street star Stephanie Davis 'winding' co-star up with own script addition as she teases major Aadi relationship twist

Coronation Street star Stephanie Davis has shared a potential twist to her current storyline as she revealed how she's been adding her own little touches to her character. The actress joined the ITV soap over the summer as Courtney Vance, the wife of Dev Alahan's new business associate.

The new character wasted no time in embarking upon a surprise affair with Aadi Alahan behind the back of her hubby Darren Vance. But after a few weeks, the affair was revealed to Darren after Courtney and Aadi were caught snogging during lunch in the Bistro, which Darren had arranged to celebrate a deal with supermarket Freshco, by Dev.

Aadi ended up announcing to Darren that he was the mystery love interest when Darren started making accusations towards his wife after putting her down in front of the group. Darren has since served Courtney divorce papers as she quickly moved in with the Alahans.

But earlier this week, Corrie viewers saw Courtney and Aadi move into Shelly Rossington's flat And after an awkward appearance at an event with Darren at the Bistro during Wednesday night's episode (September 27), Darren took Dev to one side and offers him £5,000 to split up Courtney and Aadi. Dev then returns home and, pulling out the £5k, tells Courtney it’s hers if she dumps Aadi.
